“And last but not the least… ” ( drum roll ) And my name was announced! Whew!

I went to the front and claimed my prize as a winner. I got the 500 pesos worth of voucher that I can use to play. That was the prize I got when I attended the bloggers crowd that night. It was sponsored by PAGCOR to which is the new member of the Digital Filipino Community.

I think that day was a lucky day for me. Aside from a job offer I had at the morning, it was a night full of fun with my fellow bloggers. It was also the night that I became a gambler! But of course, I am not the typical gambler you know! Hehehe. I was without any money to gamble for what I did was a bet. I was a sure winner that night!

Before my name was announced, I was already been given a voucher as a token of our presence to that event. It was a 300 pesos voucher that can only be used with a 300 pesos worth of cash added. Of course, I did not use it then for gambling a 300 pesos for seconds is just equal to a three-day allowance I can budget for myself.

All of a sudden, I was looking for my friend to say goodbye and that I need to leave ahead. But, oh, it seems they went ahead of me already. So, out of my comfort zone, I went to the place and observe people playing. And I now bet my 500 pesos worth of voucher to the game “Pula or Puti”. I put my voucher to the white area but the person moderating the game said that I am not allowed to bid for the white (Puti). I then transferred it to the Red (Pula) and I WIN!

I got few chips already that I can use to play. Each chip is worth a hundred peso. I make sure that if I will play I will only gamble a single chip each time I put it on the table. And I was wise enough that I made it sure to lay-away five chips to ensure myself that I will really go home with a prize.

The night seems to go darker and that my beginner’s luck already expired. And yes, still I got my 5 chips each a 100 pesos of value exchanged with a 500 peso bill!

Whew, thanks fellow bloggers for inviting me on the event and thanks for PAGCOR for the free vouchers that turned itself to cash. I am hopefully anticipating for another activity we will have!
