Graduation day is now fast approaching. High school and college students are new excited to march their way. As a way to remember each one’s hardships in school. Pictures takings, gifts and a lot more will be celebrated.

For the past few days, about more or less a week, I was tired and lazy adding new posts to my blog. I didn’t even mind of what the statistics of my blog, if it is viewed or not.
But lately, I was checking my statistics page and seems I got a good reasonable searches from Yahoo keywords that brought them to my blog.
Indeed, the May 2010 Philippine Election is now in the air. I got searches on keywords like candidates for 2010 in president, candidates for philippine president 2010, list of candidates for vice president 2010 that shows my blog post first page in Yahoo. This is after I created the posts on List of Candidates for Philippine Vice President this May 2010 Elections and Philippine Presidential Candidates for May 2010 Elections.
I know that I may not offer detailed information of what I am posting about these keywords but I am still hoping in one way or another I will be able to provide a bit of information that I know and offer them directions to their desired searches.

I read some blogs on SEO experiments that blog footer also plays an important role in link building and pushing your posts on the top page of search engines. You can use the footer of your blog to put optimized keywords and link them to your blog posts.
I took a peek of the footer of my current wordpress theme which is Xtremeblogg 1.0. Well, it was nosebleeding to me to understand those junks! Yes, I can write and read PHP scripts but I am not proficient with all of those functions. I tried to search about eval() and base64_decode(), but I lost my patience. It may take time for me to understand everything about it.

I tried to made some changes to these junks while reading about it. But to no success.
Why would I complicate things? This stupidity in me tried my simple average knowledge in HTML. And it worked!
I just replaced it with simple code of <div> and added some text to it that I will be putting my keyword links to my blog posts.

Setting up your Gmail IMAP Account with Mozilla Thunderbird 3.0 is just so easy.
